To increase both members and the wider public’s awareness of the environment, the likely effects of changes to it, and the conservation measures needed to develop a healthy environment for people and wildlife.
To provide opportunities through a variety of activities for Members to develop their knowledge of wildlife of the parish and beyond, and develop skills which can be used to promote a rich and varied natural environment.
To engage in activities which help the realisation of the first two aims and in particular the gathering and recording of information about the Parish environment.
To contribute where possible to non-political conservation initiatives beyond the Parish, whether regionally, nationally or internationally, and to this end foster contacts with appropriate organisations and individuals.
